Dr. Angie Monthei-Meylor, D.C.

Chiropractor

Dr. Angie Monthei-Meylor  is the owner and founder of Complete Wellness Chiropractic.  She grew up in Iowa and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Simpson College. While growing up, Dr. Angie began getting daily headaches around the age of 13, her mom took her to their family chiropractor. After a couple of adjustments her headaches were gone! Dr. Angie pursued chiropractic with a passion to help people live their lives free from pain.

Dr. Angie graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Iowa Chiropractic Society, Pinnacle Chiropractic System, and is Zone Technique Mastermind Certified. She is continually learning and travels to different seminars, both technical and philosophical, to allow her to better serve her patients.

Dr. Angie loves to spend her extra time with her family that includes her husband, Rex, and her 3 kids, Lucy, Dorothy, and Monty.  She loves to be outside with her animals, riding horses, and spending time with friends.

Lara

 Spinal Decompression Technician

Lara joined Complete Wellness Chiropractic in 2024 as a Chiropractic Assistant, and in January 2025, she transitioned to Genesis Back & Neck as a full-time Spinal Decompression Technician.

Always greeting patients with a warm smile, Lara is committed to providing exceptional care and support.

On any given day, you may find her assisting with both chiropractic treatments and spinal decompression therapy. Her role is essential to the team at Complete Wellness.

Fun fact: Lara and Dr. Angie have known each other since high school, and their paths crossed once again when Lara relocated to the Des Moines area in early 2024.

Lara graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Studies.  After college, Lara trained and showed western pleasure horses all over the country.  When Lara moved to the area, she was wanting to pursue a career that she loved and that would allow her to focus on her health.  She is excited to be part of a team that creates the opportunity to help people improve their overall health and wellbeing through chiropractic care.   

In her free time, Lara enjoys fishing and kayaking with her amazing husband, Paul, and teaching her weiner dogs tricks. 

Amy

Chiropractic Assistant

Amy joined the team at Complete Wellness Chiropractic in 2024 as a Chiropractic Assistant, bringing her friendly personality and passion for helping others to the practice. Although she excels working in the front desk and greeting patients, Amy is also trained to perform SoftWave treatments when needed. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Amy has spent most of her light in Iowa, graduating from Carroll High School. Amy is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a Radiology Technician, driven by her interest in healthcare and dedication to improving the well-being of others. 
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending her free time reading, traveling to new places, and making memories with her family. Her warmth and enthusiasm makes her a valued part of both her workplace and community.

Loran

Chiropractic Assistant

Loran joined Complete Wellness Chiropractic in 2024 as a Chiropractic Assistant and SoftWave Technician. She excels in her role because she genuinely enjoys helping patients feel their best and supporting them on their wellness journey.

Loran earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota, but is originally from Haverhill, Iowa. Loran takes her health and fitness very seriously and loves working in an environment that shares the same passion for overall wellness.

Outside of work, Loran enjoys staying active- whether she is lifting weights at the gym, hiking, biking, or going for walks. She also loves spending time with friends, meal prepping, shopping, boating, camping, and hanging out with her mastiff, Wrenleigh.
